As a parent of a STAR Rush Cincinnati player, I pledge to provide positive support, encouragement, and care for my child throughout their youth sports experience by adhering to the following principles:
I will promote good sportsmanship by demonstrating respect for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice, and event.
I will prioritize my child’s emotional and physical well-being over any personal desire to win.
I will ensure my child plays in a safe and healthy environment.
I will support and respect coaches and officials, fostering a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
I will demand a drug-, tobacco-, and alcohol-free sports environment and refrain from using them at youth sports events.
I will remember that the game is for the players—not for adults.
I will strive to make youth soccer a fun and enriching experience for my child.
I will teach my child to treat teammates, coaches, fans, and officials with respect, regardless of race, gender, creed, or ability.
I will actively contribute to my child’s positive experience, whether by being a supportive fan, assisting with coaching, or providing transportation.
I will expect my child’s coach to be trained in youth sports coaching and uphold STAR Rush Cincinnati’s Coaches’ Code of Conduct.
STAR Rush Cincinnati reserves the right to take action—including temporary suspension of a player card—if persistent inappropriate behavior occurs by a player or family members.
Player Expectations
At STAR Rush Cincinnati, players are expected to uphold the values of teamwork, respect, and commitment. Players are encouraged to:

✔ Give full effort in both training and games.
✔ Respect coaches and club staff, listening and following instructions.
✔ Play any position assigned with a positive attitude.
✔ Train outside of scheduled practices and seek every opportunity to learn.
✔ Wear your STAR Rush uniform with pride, representing the club with integrity.
